Overview

The Day 2 module introduces the Everything DiSC Workplace© model as a practical tool to help participants better understand themselves and others. New and aspiring managers explore the four primary DiSC styles and reflect on how their style influences how they communicate with direct reports, make decisions, and respond to management challenges. Using their personalized assessment results, participants gain insight into what motivates them at work and what causes stress, as they begin to navigate a management role. Through discussion and reflection, they identify ways to adapt their approach to build stronger working relationships and become more effective in their management journey.

This module includes

Facilitated session (4 hours)

Unit  4 – Everything DiSC Workplace ©: Model Overview (80 minutes)

  • Explore the foundational principles of the Everything DiSC Workplace ©model and its application in workplace interactions.
  • Understand the four primary DiSC styles, their behavioural tendencies, and how they shape communication and collaboration. 
  • Discuss how DiSC helps individuals recognize and adapt to different styles for stronger workplace relationships.


Unit 5 –  Everything DiSC Workplace ©: Your DiSC Style (80 minutes)

  • Identify personal DiSC styles using the Catalyst platform and reflect on how they influence communication and decision-making. 
  • Analyze key descriptors that resonate with personal tendencies and challenge assumptions about workplace behaviours. 
  • Engage in small group discussions to share insights about DiSC styles and how they impact team dynamics.


Unit 6 – Everything DiSC Workplace ©: What Drives You (80 minutes)

  • Assess individual workplace motivators and stressors to understand how they influence engagement and productivity. 
  • Discuss with peers how personal motivators shape workplace behaviour and how to manage stressors effectively. 
  • Develop an action plan based on DiSC insights to enhance workplace interactions and personal effectiveness.
