Overview

The Day 1 module lays the groundwork for developing a confident and intentional management approach, whether participants are stepping into a new role or preparing for one. The day begins with participants building connections and shared expectations through a collaboratively created group agreement. Using the instructor’s Lead, Learn, Grow conversation cards, participants reflect on their leadership values and the type of leader they want to become. Participants explore the distinct roles of managers and leaders, and identify how their values and leadership behaviours shape team culture and performance.
