Overview

The Day 4 module focuses on curiosity as a leadership skill that drives learning, innovation, and adaptability. Participants explore research and insights from the instructor’s book, Into the Hands of Leaders: Employee Growth through Learning, reflecting on how curiosity shapes decision-making, team culture, and their leadership approach. Participants identify common barriers to curiosity, such as fear, time pressure, or rigid norms, and discuss strategies for fostering open, inquiry-based environments where questions are welcomed. Using a self-assessment, participants explore their personal curiosity and examine how to shift from a fixed to a learning mindset. The session concludes with techniques to nurture curiosity in others through powerful questioning, real-world learning, and role modeling. Participants develop action plans to bring curiosity into team meetings, problem-solving, and everyday leadership practices.
